Old Lady Scene Update
So I've spent probably too much time, trying out various methods for doing lots of things on this scene. But its all good practice in the end. I'm not too sure how much is going to change from this, but here's the latest update. The scene now has the lil' old lady imported, threw on some hair for her, applied sss material + textures, even added the photos in the background.

The Grumple
I took a break from solely working on the hut environment, did a character doodle in ZBrush.
This would be the sort of critters or creatures that would inhabit the "Grummel-verse"
More critters will pop up from time to time, depending on how my attention span holds with the environment ;)

More Details !
Further detailing, Added some ropes, Uv'd the tarps, threw in some more Mushrooms, one can never have enough fungi.

Tarps n Fungi !
Pressing on, the timber supports have been imported and some additional fungi has been added.
Tarps for the entrance and roof were fun to do, positioning the geo in place, converting to nCloth simulating, tweaking and simulating further. Next step will be adding some ropes and uv'ing some of the new additions.

Inside Maya
First look inside Maya, Bringing the Low Res version of the hut and normal maps. For the most part, it looks fine. Except for around the edges of the branch, ill have to add some more Geo in there to support the form better.

Fixing it all together.
Just adding some extra details to the hut like carving an opening to allow access inside ;)
Hunks of wood slapped on and nailed in to hold the entrance in place. Basically adding the character that feels more like our main character, Grummel.

Enter the Hut
Some time spent trying out re-topologizing from inside ZBrush, Followed up by PolyGrouping and UVMastering. Sadly the islands needed to be better arranged from inside Maya to get better use of the space. But here's a look at the entrance :)

Grummels Hut
Starting off with the Hut, This is the Initial Sculpt from inside Zbrush It still has a long way to go, its missing a lot of features like an entrance to the hut, Tarps for the entrance and roof, Ropes and fixings to secure the entrance and most importantly Fungi ;)
